Week Beginning 29th September

Date: 18th Nov 2014 @ 8:23am

What a busy two weeks!

Our group of Y6 pupils who went to France had a marvellous time and did us proud while they represented our school in another country. It was lovely to see them all arrive safely back again – a huge ‘thank you’ to Mrs Lewis, Mrs Cox and Mr Collier for giving time so freely to provide this opportunity.

Meanwhile, the remaining Y6 pupils had a wonderful week preparing for their Macmillan Coffee Morning last Friday. Thank you so much for supporting this event with donations of cakes and for attending the event itself.

Last week I met with the PTFA for their AGM. What an amazing team of volunteers! There are some great events planned for everyone to enjoy this academic year. Soon it will time for Halloween Bingo! Remember to look on the website in the PTFA section for all of the details.

On Wednesday evening there was a meeting of the Class Representatives. I was delighted with the wide range of really positive and constructive comments which were brought to the meeting. There are a few small adjustments for us to make in order to ensure that we continue to make Hermitage the best that it can be so thank you for your feedback. Please remember to look on the website or contact school if you have a concern or need clarification about anything.

Have a great weekend everyone
