  • Pupil Parliament

Our School Parliament enables children to take on important roles and responsibilities to represent their peers and support the school.

The School Parliament is made up of: School Ambassadors, House Captains, Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, Eco Crew, Play Leaders, Sports Leaders, Safety Officers and Digital Leaders. We also have school councillors with 2 representatives from each class from Reception to Year 5.

All children are elected annually by vote and an interview with the Senior Leadership Team. They meet regularly to discuss ideas for further developing our school.  They share the minutes of the meetings in their classes by leading discussions and following up actions on the minutes from meetings.

The School Parliament have created a suggestion box for children to put their ideas into.  These ideas are discussed at the weekly meetings.

The School Parliament arranges events throughout the school year, including supporting local and national charities.
