Year 3 Weekly Overview
Tattenhall Residential March 2022
We have had a super morning and afternoon since arriving. We have had a tour of the centre, played outside (despite the rain), made Egyptian masks and decorate t-shirts to remind us our first residential! More photos will follow.
7pm update: Good evening! We have had a great evening and dinner time. The children have all said how much they are enjoying themselves and that the experience is surpassing their expectations. We have played lots of games outside, had a delicious meal cooked by the great staff at Tattenhall and are now settled down ready to watch a film. Mrs Slater is on hot chocolate duty! Fingers crossed for a peaceful night! I will add more photos tomorrow. Miss Smith :)
Stone Age Trip!
Lesson: History
Class: Year 3 Year: 2021 - 2022
We had a fantastic time at Tatton Park for our Stone Age Trip. It was a fabulous chance to enhance everything we've already learnt about the Stone Age through hands on activities. We built shelters, lit fires using techniques from the Stone Age and learnt all about how they would have gathered food before perfecting farming techniques.
The children were fab and embraced all the experiences with positive attitudes and great senses of humour. Lots even said they'd like to live in the Stone Age!
